Please note that the road bike 10-speed rear derailleur is compatible with 7/8/9/10-speed setups, while the MTB 9-speed rear derailleur is compatible with 7/8/9-speed configurations. For optimal performance, we recommend following the provided instructions for installation and adjustment. Fine-tune the rotating screw to adjust the wire tube length, control the position of the cassette and the chain, and effectively resolve issues such as gear skipping and abnormal chain noise. Additionally, use the tension adjustment at the back shift and back hook to control the tension and adjust the speed response time. Lastly, make use of the eye-pull screw and set screw to ensure that the chain is positioned correctly between the largest and smallest cogs.
